AI humanizer

Humanize AI text — free, instant, browser-side.

Paste output from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any LLM and the AI humanizer rewrites it into more natural prose. Pick a humanization level — light, medium, or aggressive — and see exactly which transformations were applied.

About this tool

What the AI humanizer actually does.

Large language models leave a recognizable fingerprint: even sentence length, uniform vocabulary, formal transitions (furthermore, moreover, in conclusion), and a tendency to over-hedge every claim. The humanizer applies a battery of rewrites that target exactly these patterns.

At Light, it adds contractions ("it is" → "it's") and swaps the most formal transitions for natural ones. At Medium, it restructures sentences — combining short ones, splitting long ones — and downgrades stiff vocabulary like "utilize" or "demonstrate". At Aggressive, it adds conversational pacing inserts for maximum divergence.

Every transformation is counted and shown in the output card so you can see exactly what changed.

How to use it responsibly

  • Polish your own first draft.Use it on text you've written yourself with LLM assistance, to soften stiff prose before you finalize.
  • Brainstorm style variations.Compare Light / Medium / Aggressive on the same input to see how different rewrite intensities shift voice.
  • Study the patterns.Read the change counts. They show what surface features LLMs leak — useful if you write about, build, or evaluate AI detection.
  • Don't pass AI work off as your own.Schools, publishers, and clients all treat that as a misrepresentation regardless of whether a humanizer was used. We won't pretend otherwise.

The natural complement

Want to check whether text has been humanized?

The Humanization Detector runs a signal model tuned for the artifacts humanizers leave behind — register collisions, characteristic fillers, and engineered sentence-length variance.

AI humanizer — common questions

What is an AI humanizer?

An AI humanizer is a tool that rewrites text generated by large language models like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini so it reads more like natural human writing. It does this by introducing contractions, varied sentence lengths, less formal vocabulary, and the small irregularities that LLMs tend to smooth out.

Is this AI humanizer free?

Yes — completely free, no signup, no rate limit in the demo. Processing happens in your browser; the text you paste does not leave your device.

Will humanized text pass AI detectors?

Sometimes, against some detectors. Humanization is an adversarial game and the success rate depends on which detector, how long the sample is, and the specific model that produced the original. Don't trust an 'undetectable' marketing claim from any humanizer including this one.

Should I use this for school work?

We don't recommend it. Most institutions treat submitting AI work as your own as a form of academic dishonesty regardless of whether a humanizer was used. The tool is intended for legitimate uses like polishing first drafts that you'll then rewrite in your own voice.

What's the difference between Light, Medium, and Aggressive?

Light applies contractions and transition-phrase replacements. Medium adds sentence restructuring and vocabulary simplification. Aggressive adds pacing inserts and conversational fillers for maximum divergence from the original. Aggressive output diverges most from the source — read carefully before using.
